Which of the five teams is the most underrated in football?
The Miami Dolphins are the biggest underdog of all time.
The Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots, and Pittsburgh Steelers are the five most overrated teams in football.
They’re not the only teams that are underappreciated.
Here’s a look at five of the biggest underappreciation stories in sports.
1.
Buffalo Bills The Bills have been a bit of a sleeper team for the past few seasons.
They were one of the most hyped teams in the NFL, and they have been one of their better teams the past two seasons.
But, they have only two wins this season, and that’s on the road against the New England Revolution and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Bills offense is not great.
They’ve allowed the most points in the league this season.
They have not been a particularly good defensive team either.
The Buffalo Bills are also one of only four teams with fewer wins than a playoff spot.
This is not a good situation for a franchise.
2.
Cincinnati Bengals The Bengals have been an under-appreciating team for a while now.
They don’t have a good offensive team, and their defense is not particularly good either.
They are one of just three teams to allow more points than they’ve scored this season and have the fewest victories.
This season, they are 1-3.
3.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers The Buccaneers have been fairly disappointing this season for a number of reasons.
The defense has been awful, the offense hasn’t been good, and the defense has allowed the third-most points this season with the sixth-fewest points allowed.
They only have two wins.
This has to be a big reason why they’ve not been mentioned in much of the hype surrounding this team.
4.
New England Saints The Saints have been among the most underapplied teams in NFL history.
They lost in Week 3 and haven’t been in the playoff hunt since.
Their biggest story so far this season is the trade of former wide receiver Brandon Coleman to the New York Jets.
The Saints are the team to beat if you’re looking for a big offensive breakout.
But they’ve only won one game this season on the year.
5.
Pittsburgh Steelers While they are one win away from the playoffs, the Steelers have not shown much progress.
They still have plenty of holes to fill.
They could be a very good team in the future, but it’s a long shot at this point.
